Surviving the Covid Pandemic (and Our Own Waste Obsession)
Bin Better was created by the family-run business Maface Solutions Ltd — a team that, for reasons nobody fully understands, has spent over a decade professionally obsessed with waste.
Dog waste, bin waste… if it’s waste, we’ve probably designed something to deal with it.
Back in 2010, we launched an innovative pooper-scooper device for the pet market:
The dooup Complete Pet Waste Clearer — a pioneering gadget that made cleaning up after your dog quicker, more hygienic, and significantly less “ew”.
Over 12 surprisingly glorious years, the dooup gained national attention, showing up on Crufts and even Dragons’ Den (yes, we really pitched a high-tech poo machine on national television… and no, we’re not sorry).
But like many small businesses, we didn’t survive the long-term fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic. So we did what any sensible, waste-focused family business would do:
We pivoted… to wheelie bin storage.
Because if the dooup taught us anything, it’s that there will always be more mess to tackle.
Today, we design and manufacture stylish wheelie bin enclosures for the UK market — because bins deserve their glow-up too.
And we don’t just make them; we deliver and install them as well.
So you can banish that wheelie-bin eyesore from your driveway in the blink of an eye.
(Well… in about 45 minutes. Our installation team is fast, but they’re not superheroes.)
